Run the Rainbow, Cotswold Airport, Sunday 17 July
Get ready for 5k event with powdered paint, foam, music, and even inflatables. You can run, walk or even skip through the challenge… but one thing is for sure, it’s going to be colourful! We will be looking for:
- Car Park Marshals
- Registration volunteers
- Course Marshals
- Colour, paint, and foam station volunteers
- Merchandise sellers
- Medal givers
Open Garden and Teas at Daglingworth House, Sunday 14 August
Daglingworth House is home to a classical garden of 2.5 acres, with a humorous contemporary twist.
This lovely garden near Cirencester will open in aid Longfield Hospice on 14 August. Entry to the garden is £7 with tea available on the day too. We will be looking for:
- Car parking volunteers
- People to help serve refreshments
Longfield Summer Fete, Sunday August 28, 1.00pm – 4.00pm
We are delighted and so excited to announce that our Longfield Hospice Summer Fete is back on Sunday 28 August 2022.
Guaranteed fun for all members of the family with a variety of craft stalls, games fresh food, live entertainment, and much more. Free parking is available and well-behaved dogs on leads are welcome.
All activities will be taking place in our beautiful hospice grounds, so why not join us from 1pm to 4pm for a fun afternoon, raising funds for your local community hospice. We are looking for:
- Help setting up the stalls for the fete on Friday 26 August
- Car Parking Marshals
- Raffle Ticket sellers
- Volunteers to help man our stalls, BBQ, Bar, tea, and cakes
- Cake makers
- Help to clear away after the fete has taken place
Cotswold Way Challenge, Saturday, September 10 – an all day event
With 20 and 10-mile challenges on offer, including a celebratory finish for both walks. The routes will follow the footpaths and trails taking in the rolling hills and villages along the magical Cotswold Way. We think we will be starting at Stinchcombe Golf Club and walking 20 miles back towards Painswick and then a 10-mile route this year. We will need help with the following:
- People to help register the walkers in the morning
- Marshals on the route
- Register people at the halfway point and 10-mile start
- Help serve refreshments at the halfway point
- Provide cake for the halfway point
