We run ODEs at Broadway which has to be one of the most beautiful XC courses in the UK. We are looking for volunteers to dressage write, Steward, XC fence judge and also help more behind the scenes with provisional scoring etc.
Our volunteers are essential and thankfully we have a real dedicated number of people who come back to help us out and now we consider good friends but we are always on the look out for more helpers. Bring a friend to come with you and feel free to bring your dog (must be kept on a lead).
Dressage writing - Recording judges scores on an ipad
Dressage stewarding - Ensuring riders run on time
XC fence Judges - keeping check if horse and rider are clear and reporting back to control via radio/recording the time.
Scoring - helping XC control record scores

About Horse-Events
Volunteering is a great way to give back to the sport whilst enjoying a day out in the fresh air, its a great way to spend a day catching up with a friend or even meet new ones.
No previous experience is necessary for some of the roles and full training is given.
