Join our Volunteer Day covering Gardening/ Painting/ Maintenance TBC.


Hawkwood provides a multitude of fulfilling volunteer opportunities that enable you to make a meaningful difference while enjoying a range of enriching experiences. By volunteering, you can connect with others, have fun, develop new skills, maintain an active lifestyle, and contribute to your community's well-being.


This particular volunteer day is set to cover a range of activities including gardening, painting and maintenance.


We're seeking enthusiastic volunteers to help us cultivate and beautify our garden, paint and decorate our spaces and maintain Hawkwood as a beautiful space for everyone to enjoy. Your skills are most welcome.


Lend a hand and make a difference through:

Gardening: Planting flowers, shrubs and seeds. Weed and maintain garden beds. Woodland work. Composting. Spread mulch and gravel. Maintain paths and walkways.

Painting and decorating. Help with painting walls, skirting boards and other surfaces to refresh the overall look of our venue. Sand down rough surfaces and prepare them for a smooth and clean finish.

Maintenance. Ensure each of our unique spaces provide our visitors with a warm, welcoming environment. Working with our team to address any maintenance issues.


What to bring:

Comfortable clothing and footwear suitable for indoor and outdoor work.

A reusable water bottle to stay hydrated.

A willingness to get involved.
