We are looking for a nurse to help us take children with special needs on a holiday of a lifetime in France. It's all about fun! All training given.
We are a Gloucestershire-based charity called HCPT Group 3 and we are recruiting a nurse to help us take children with special needs on holiday next Easter (2025) to France.
For many of these kids, they won’t have been abroad before and so it’s a very exciting holiday filled with fun and laughter and lots of silliness! We eat lots, play lots of games, have a water fight, an Easter egg hunt, a party, a sports day, and the list goes on … but the emphasis is always on having the most fun possible! Both the helpers (of which a nurse is a part of) and children have a great time and many of our helpers come back year after year! We are a Christian organisation but take people of all faiths and none.
As a nurse, you would administer prescribed medications to the children and be on-hand to help support the children’s wellbeing, along with our helpers. Many of our helpers have a wealth of experience and the leadership team ensure that the children we take can be confidently cared for by our helpers. You need no experience with children with special needs and you will be supported by the group, leadership and other charity doctors and nurses.
