We need drivers to deliver foodbank parcels to people who need them but aren't able to collect from us.

Role purpose: Food Banks provide essential food parcels to people in the area. At times situations occur where families need emergency support or are unable to collect from GL11 Community Hub. As a Delivery driver you would work in a pair to take parcels out on these occasions. In this role you can make a real difference to people’s lives providing vital help and support to those requiring support in your local community.

Personal qualities and experience:

  • A commitment to the organisation.
  • Driving License.
  • Own vehicle.
  • Non-judgemental.
  • Be able to lift potentially heavy bags.
  • A willingness to devote the necessary time and effort.
  • An ability to work effectively as a member of a team.
  • Organised and self-motivated.
  • Friendly and patient.
  • An understanding of the ethos of GL11 CH and the needs of the residents who engage with us.
  • Willing to work within guidelines and always follow confidentiality policies.
