Helpers needed to pack and /or deliver food boxes which will be sent out to families in receipt of free school meals to cover school holiday periods.

FVAF run the Holiday Activities and Food (HAF) scheme for the Forest of Dean and during some school holidays provide food boxes for families. We pack these helped by a team of volunteers and then deliver them across the district. If you would like to get involved with either packing or delivering the boxes, we would love to hear from you.

Delivery will require you to use your own car , or some volunteers might be needed to drive vans. Involves moving and lifting heavy boxes.

Packing involves moving and lifting heavy boxes, although if you have difficulty with this, we could arrange a more static role just packing on a production line.

Packing the boxes are busy, fun and rewarding days, working as part of a team.
