We are looking for volunteers to help out in the runs with marshalling the run routes, handing out water and helping out in the finish.Detailed description
Forest Runner is a series of 5K runs and 10K runs taking place in Forestry England sites across the UK. The series aims to help raise money for Forestry England projects along with getting people active in forests.
We mainly need people to marshal on the routes. This involves being positioned on the run routes to look out for the safety of the participants and cheer them on. We also need someone to be on the water station handing out water to participants. Lastly we need someone in the finish to hand out the medals and goody bags.
No experience is needed for any role. All volunteers can receive a Forest Runner goody bag, medal and buff.
