The commercial arm of the Dean Forest Railway has opportunities for ticket office & information staff along with shop assistants based at Norchard Station.
In this year of Railways 200, you will be politely greeting and then dealing with the general public / passengers. Often the ticket office shop staff are the first DFR people that our passengers meet. It's great to make good, first impression !
The role includes taking money, making contactless transactions and finding answers to passenger's questions.
Working Members of the Dean Forest Railway Society run The Railway and enjoy several benefits such as free travel on The DFR, free tea and coffee through the day from The Whistles Café.
