Crossroads Gloucestershire

About Crossroads Gloucestershire

Crossroads Gloucestershire began in 1996. We are a registered charity, and our services include care and support for people living with disabilities, people who live in social isolation or for unpaid carers. Our charitable objective is to provide high-quality support services that enable people, particularly (but not exclusively) those who are in need by reason of frailty, ill-health, or disability and their carers, to lead safer and healthier lives.

Our person-centred activities are provided in a variety of settings, so that loneliness and isolation are minimised, and quality of life is improved, thereby enabling people to remain in their own homes and communities for as long as possible.

By volunteering for Crossroads Gloucestershire, you are supporting and empowering our localities unpaid carers, people living with a disability, or people who are socially isolated.

Crossroads Gloucestershire is a charity, and we are always developing innovative new ways to support people. We have a range of activities that seek willing volunteers to become involved with. These include:

Gents Pub Club
Ladies Lunch Group
Carers Social Events
Skittles Groups
Friendship Groups
Giving back to our community and gaining a personal sense of satisfaction are just two benefits. Volunteers can access a wide range of training opportunities and experiences that can develop and improve your professional profile. This could enhance your career prospects, provide you with a good reference or supplement areas of your CV.
