🏅 Volunteer Sports Coaches Wanted — Make a Real Impact in Inclusive Community Sport

Community Sports Foundation CIC is expanding, and we’re looking for enthusiastic Volunteer Sports Coaches to support our inclusive sessions across Gloucestershire and Worcestershire.

If you’re studying sport, coaching, PE, fitness, health, or education at college or university, this is a brilliant opportunity to gain hands‑on experience, build your CV, and make a genuine difference in the lives of children, young people, and disabled adults.

🌟 What You’ll Be Part Of

We deliver accessible, child‑led sports programmes for:

• Home‑educated children

• SEND learners

• Disabled adults

• Families in areas of deprivation

Our sessions focus on autonomy, belonging, and joyful participation — not performance or pressure.

🧩 Your Role

As a Volunteer Sports Coach, you will:

• Support the delivery of inclusive, adaptive sports sessions

• Work alongside an experienced lead coach

• Help create safe, welcoming environments for all participants

• Bring energy, empathy, and creativity to every session

• Learn how to adapt activities for a wide range of needs

Perfect for students wanting real coaching experience, placement hours, or community engagement opportunities.

✔️ Essential Requirements

To volunteer with us, you must have:

• A valid DBS check

• An up‑to‑date CV

• Checkable work/volunteering history

• A commitment to inclusion and safeguarding

At least level 1 coaching qualification

(If you don’t have a DBS yet, we can advise on the process.)

🎓 Ideal For

• College and university students studying sport, coaching, PE, health, or education

• Anyone looking to build practical coaching experience

• People passionate about inclusive sport and community impact

🌱 What You’ll Gain

• Real‑world coaching experience with diverse groups

• Skills in inclusive practice and adaptive sport

• Mentoring from an experienced inclusive coach

• References for future employment or placements

• The chance to be part of something meaningful and community‑driven
