Summary
In September Churchdown Repair Cafe are running a Bike Workshop and bike repair special. Due to its popularity in July we are looking for a bike repairer.Detailed description
The role will entail 2 hours from 10am till 12 noon on the 2nd Saturday in September, people from the community coming to you with bike issues and for you to say if it is possible to help repair or not. Things like puncture in a tire, gear problems. We provide triage to help with community expectations. You will be provided with support from our repairer team, drinks whilst with us and a friendly supportive environment.
The idea behind the event is prevent bikes ending up in landfill and giving people skills to enable them to repair instead of replace items. Part of Vision 21 sustainability program.
