Join CWR as our Volunteer Fundraising Lead, steering bids, strategy and long‑term sustainability with strong support from our Core Group team and Coordinator.
We are seeking a Fundraising Lead to join our Core Group, the small team of volunteers who each oversee a workstream within CWR. This role would take oversight of CWR's fundraising activity, with support from our Admin and Activity Coordinator:
- identifying and developing funding bids to trusts, foundations and other grant-making bodies;
- maintaining and overseeing a healthy fundraising pipeline so opportunities are tracked and prioritised;
- writing bids, gathering supporting evidence, and writing funder reports and/or recruiting and briefing a small group of volunteers as needed to help with this work;
- looking further ahead, shaping a coherent fundraising strategy that can give CWR a sustainable financial footing to continue our work for the long term.
Ideally the person will have some experience of grant writing and overseeing fundraising in a charitable organisation, as well as a passion for the work CWR does. They'll work closely with the rest of the Core Group, and with the Admin and Activity Coordinator, alongside oversight support from our trustee with a fundraising specialism, to ensure funding priorities align with CWR's wider programme of work. And in doing so, will have a transformative impact on what we do!
