The Midsummer Fiesta team are seeking volunteers to help run the day.
Cheltenham’s annual Midsummer Fiesta event is back once again on Saturday 15th July at Montpellier Gardens. The Fiesta is a free family event that attracts thousands, and includes live performances, a marketplace of local stalls, a children’s village, fairground rides, sports activities and a range of food and drink offerings.
With so much on offer at the Fiesta, volunteers are so important to function of the event. Volunteers are needed for setting up, helping with the marketplace stalls, with children’s activities, marshalling vehicles on and off site, meeting and greeting, closing down the event, and lots more. We are looking for volunteers who can support for any number of hours between 8:30am - 10:30pm.
Volunteers should be 18 or over unless supervised as part of a constituted group.
Volunteers are invited to a briefing session beforehand and are provided with meals (if you volunteer over 4 hours) drinks and snacks throughout the day. There are also opportunities for breaks to enjoy the event as well.
The event is being organised by the Midsummer Fiesta planning group formed of West Cheltenham Partnership, Cheltenham West End Partnership, Cheltenham Borough Council, Cheltenham Zero, and the Music Works.
