The Fiesta team are desperately seeking volunteers to help run the inflatables on the day. This support is crucial to making the day happen (the inflatables are where a substantial amount of the income from the event comes, which in turn helps fund future events). Volunteers would support with managing the queues for the inflatables and may also support with taking payments.
We are looking for volunteers / groups of volunteers who can support for any number of hours between 11.30am - 6pm. Volunteers should be 18 or over unless supervised as part of a constituted group.
Volunteers are invited to a briefing session beforehand and are provided with meals (if you volunteer over 4 hours) drinks and snacks throughout the day. There are also opportunities for breaks to enjoy the event as well.
The event is being organised by the Midsummer Fiesta planning group formed of West Cheltenham Partnership, Cheltenham West End Partnership, Cheltenham Borough Council, Cheltenham Zero, Goodlife Basecamp and the Music Works. With sponsorship from Cheltenham BID, Cheltenham Borough Council, Gloucestershire County Council and Barnwood Trust.
