We need to fill skills gaps on the Board - fundraising, legal, marketing, IT - as well as general management.Detailed description
Although lockdown was a couple of years ago and should no longer be an excuse, CANDI is the phoenix rising from the ashes. A number of long standing trustees retired and some new ones have been appointed. Although we have bags of enthusiasm, we lack some skills and are seeking to fill these gaps.
We have monthly meetings, but there is no requirement for any minimum time to be committed - it's as much as you are able to give.

CANDI a community-based registered charity in the Forest of Dean.
Established in 1995 to improve conditions of life in Cinderford and the surrounding area, CANDI has particularly been committed to increasing the opportunities for young people, and to raising their aspirations, providing drop-ins for young people aged 11 to 17 in Cinderford and Drybrook and a street-dance group.
CANDI is now extending the scope of its work to reach out to community groups of all ages, setting up its own groups and working in partnership with other charities in the Forest of Dean.
we are looking for volunteers to join our team and work with us supporting our youth groups as well as other community support that available at CANDI.
we understand and appreciate that not everyone is able to commit to a lot of time regularly, however we are looking for volunteers who are able to offer any length of time on a long or short term basis.
In return we are able to offer supervision and support for out volunteers as well as training opportunities for self growth and personal development.
