About us:
Art for All Mental Health is an Arts and Mental Health Charity. We deliver therapeutic art classes to adults with a mental health condition in Cheltenham and the surrounding areas of Gloucestershire.
We aim to help people achieve sustained mental well-being through the practice of being creative.
We are looking for an Administration Volunteer to help us get organised and running smoothly as a newly registered charity. By supporting our day-to-day administration, you’ll free up our CEO to focus on growing the charity’s income and reach. This role is central to helping us build strong foundations for the future.
About the Role: Key Responsibilities:
• Act as first point of contact for day-to-day enquiries by email (and phone if needed)
• Help set up and maintain simple structures and processes to keep things running smoothly
• Organise board and trustee meetings (scheduling dates, circulating papers, taking minutes where required) for 2025 and into 2026
• Maintain basic records and files so information is easy to find and up to date
• Provide ad hoc support to the CEO to get things done and reduce pressure on day-to-day tasks
About you: skills and experience:
We are looking for someone who is:
• Super organised, reliable, and able to keep things ship-shape
• Confident communicating with a wide range of people in a friendly and approachable way
• Discreet and able to handle sensitive information with confidentiality
• Confident using email and IT/MS Office packages
• Happy to roll your sleeves up and help with whatever needs doing in a small but growing charity
• Passionate about giving something back to the community and supporting mental health
Knowledge of a mental health setting or previous PA experience would be a bonus but not essential.
Why Join Us?
• Play a key role in helping a brand-new charity get set up for the future
• Use your organisational skills to make a real, visible difference straight away
• Gain experience of how a charity runs at board and operational level
• Be part of a friendly, committed team who believe in the power of art to support mental health and wellbeing
