Create bright futures with Aim Up. We’re looking for passionate trustees to make a change. Meet once a month; law, finance or fundraising experience is a bonus!

Could you help shape the future of Aim Up?

We are looking for new trustees to join our Board and help guide the future of our Gloucestershire based charity, supporting adults with disabilities, complex needs and mental health conditions to live the life they want.

As a trustee, you will help oversee the charity’s direction, contribute to important decisions, ensure we are well governed and financially responsible, and support us to reach more people and create new opportunities. It is a chance to share your experience, bring fresh ideas and play a part in something that matters.

We are particularly keen to hear from people with a background in law, finance or fundraising, but it's not a necessity. Most importantly, we are looking for people who care about what we do and want to get involved.

What is the time commitment?

The role involves attending 12 Board meetings per year, usually one meeting each month after 5:30pm. It also involves as many hours as you are willing to give to help us. We understand that everyone has work, family and other commitments, so we are happy to discuss arrangements and work with you to make the role manageable around your availability.

You do not need previous trustee experience. We welcome people who can bring their professional skills, enthusiasm, ideas or simply a genuine desire to support our charity.

If you would like to use your experience to make a positive contribution in Gloucestershire, we would love to hear from you.
