About Active Impact
Active Impact CIO exists to develop, promote and support activities which advance opportunities for disabled people to be included in activities carried out within the wider community by working with them, their families, volunteers and agencies which support them. We provide practical support through training, funding, peer networks and opportunities which enable activity providers to develop their inclusive practice so that more disabled people can feel welcome and included.
We champion inclusion by influencing, challenging, and helping local authorities, public institutions, local businesses and VCSE organisations to think strategically about the need to welcome and include disabled people of all ages within activities and opportunities in their local communities.
