Help launch a new Community Bike Project in Quedgeley & Kingsway. Learn skills, meet people, support cycling and make a difference locally.
Help us launch an exciting new Community Bike Project in Quedgeley and Kingsway.
We're looking for friendly, enthusiastic volunteers to help young people access cycling, learn practical skills and build community connections. Whether you're an experienced bike mechanic, a keen cyclist or simply enjoy helping others, we'd love to hear from you.
What will I do?
• Support bicycle repair and maintenance sessions
• Help young people learn basic bike skills
• Assist at community events and activities
• Help organise tools, equipment
What will I gain?
• Learn new skills and build confidence
• Meet new people and make friends
• Gain valuable volunteering experience
• Be part of a positive community project
• Share your interests and knowledge with others
What difference will I make?
You'll help local young people maintain their bikes, reduce waste by keeping them in use, encourage healthier lifestyles, and create positive opportunities for young people and families in the community.
We are looking for people with and without bike maintenance skills - training and support will be provided. We welcome people from all backgrounds and with all levels of experience.
Flexible volunteering – give as much or as little time as you can.
