Wycliffe College Combined Cadet Force is looking to recruit Cadet Force Adult Volunteers to help deliver the Army Cadet Syllabus
Wycliffe's CCF needs adult volunteers with a wide range of skills.
Having a military back ground would be an advantage but not essential.
We are specifically looking for volunteers who can help between 4:30 and 6:30pm on a Wednesday evening in school term time. But a willingness to also help out on occasion weekend would be very helpful.
The role can be modified to suit the individual but being able to deliver any of these activities would really help. We can train people up if they want to learn.
- Running leadership tasks
- Mentoring older cadets whilst they deliver training
- Supervising outdoor activities such as hill walking and other adventurous training
There are other areas of expertise that will need volunteers to be qualified in before they could deliver but we can offer that training.
- Teaching First Aid
- Teaching Drill
- Teaching Rifle Handling
- Supervising blank and live firing.

Our Combined Cadet Force (CCF) is looking for enthusiastic adult volunteers to join our team and help deliver an exciting programme of activities for cadets.
Our main training evening takes place every Wednesday from 4:30–6:30pm, where cadets take part in a range of military-themed training, leadership activities, skills development and team-building exercises.
There are also opportunities to support weekend activities, which can include adventurous training, outdoor pursuits and military field camps. These activities provide cadets with opportunities to develop confidence, resilience, leadership and teamwork in challenging and rewarding environments.
You don't need previous military experience to get involved. Full training and support are available, and there are opportunities to work towards relevant qualifications as you develop your role within the CCF.
Once qualified, a small volunteer allowance is available for attendance at approved training courses and for certain activities and trips away from the school site.
