We are looking for someone to fill the position of secretary as a volunteer for Wotton Community Land Trust.
At Wotton Community Land Trust (WCLT), the Secretary plays a vital role in helping us operate. The role provides leadership on governance and compliance, helping the Committee to follow proper procedures, maintain accurate records, and uphold the highest standards of conduct and integrity. This is an ideal opportunity for someone who enjoys organisation, governance and supporting community action.
The new Secretary will be joining a team of people dedicated to preserving and enhancing Wotton-Under-Edges natural environment and helping people enjoy it. WCLT is powered by people who are passionate about this goal; our committee and volunteers getting involved for the joy both of working outdoors and helping their local community. Our volunteer days and public meetings bring together local people of all ages and backgrounds and are a great social opportunity as much as anything else. The Secretary would be vital to organising such events and would therefore be an asset to the community itself as well as our organisation. Anyone who registers an interest will be sent a document with a more detailed description of the Secretarial role.
