Volunteer with Wotton Area CAN
Would you like to get more involved in your local community and help make a positive difference for climate and nature?
Wotton Area CAN is a friendly, community-led group working across Wotton-under-Edge and the surrounding area to encourage practical local action on climate change, sustainability and biodiversity.
We’re looking for new volunteers to join our core team and help us continue and develop our activities. This could involve helping to organise community events and talks, supporting local environmental projects, sharing ideas, helping with communications and fundraising, or simply lending a hand where you can.
You don’t need to be a climate expert or have any particular experience – we’re looking for people who care about their local community and environment and would like to contribute their ideas, skills or time.
Our core team meets once a month to share ideas, plan activities and decide what we’d like to work on next. There’s no expectation to get involved in everything, and how much time you give is entirely up to you. Whether you can offer a couple of hours a month or would like to become more involved, we’d love to hear from you.
Volunteering with Wotton Area CAN is a great way to meet new people, get involved in interesting local projects, learn new skills and help turn good ideas into positive action.
