Would you like to get outdoors, meet new people and help create a greener future for our local area?
Wotton Area CAN organises community tree and hedge planting events in and around Wotton-under-Edge, and we’re always looking for volunteers to come along and lend a hand.
Our planting projects help create and restore valuable habitats for wildlife, improve biodiversity and increase tree and hedgerow cover across our local area.
You don’t need any previous experience – we’ll show you what to do, and you can contribute as much as you feel able. Whether you’re an experienced gardener or have never planted a tree before, everyone is welcome.
Planting events are a great way to spend a few hours outdoors, meet other local people and make a practical difference that will benefit wildlife and the community for years to come.
Events usually take place during the winter tree-planting season, and you can volunteer whenever it suits you – there’s no ongoing commitment.
