Summary
We are looking for volunteers to come and hear some of younger children read. Unfortunately, not every child is read to or heard reading at home.
Detailed description
Ideally, we would be looking for someone who can commit to an afternoon per week although we can be very flexible as any offers of support, would be greatly appreciated.
A typical afternoon for us would be 12.55 - 3.15 and you would spend around 10-15 mins with a child hearing them read. The teachers would provide you with a list of who to hear reading.
Every child should be reading every day but unfortunately, some of our children are not. If we can change that at school, we would like to help.
