The Rock team would like some support to arrange, set up & run 3 or 4 events a year. These could be fundraising events or local events / fun days or fates that
The Rock team would like some support to arrange, set up & run 3 or 4 events a year. These could be fundraising events or local events / fun days or fates that The Rock may or may not be already invited to or involved in. We are looking for a volunteer or two who have a passion for positive community engagement and organising events. This will enable The Rock to expand its reach and community engagement as well as promote and raise valuable funds for the ongoing work and projects with local young people.
Volunteers, both male and female, from all age groups and backgrounds are welcome; however, the minimum age for this role is 18. DBS checks are carried out; a criminal record will not necessarily bar you from volunteering. Our skilled Youth Workers have experience working with young people and are on hand to offer advice and support. All volunteers will have induction training to include Safeguarding prior to volunteering. There is also further training opportunities available in Food Hygiene, First Aid & more.
