Are you an online selling whizz, with a creative eye for a good photo and catchy description? Help us list items online to raise even more funds for our animals
We opened our first charity shop in Stroud in 2024. All funds raised from donated items sold in the shop go towards helping care for our animals. As a small, independent charity, we are reliant on donations, grants and volunteers to operate.
What we’re looking for: Someone to help with listing donated items for sale on eBay and other online selling platforms to help reach a wider audience and raise even more funds for our rescue cats and dogs. This role would involve researching items, taking photos and writing a description, choosing the best platform for that item, packing and posting items, as well as answering messages and providing updates to keep buyers happy.
Ideally you will have experience of listing and selling items online, and knowledge of various online selling platforms, along with good customer service skills for answering queries and keeping buyers updated. A creative side with a good eye for taking an enticing photo and writing a detailed description, would also be helpful.
When you can help: Ideally a morning or afternoon one day a week. The charity shop is open 9am-5pm Tuesday-Saturday, and volunteers usually give a morning or afternoon shift. We can be flexible within these times to suit you and your availability. Some of this role could be done at home.
