Seren’s Wish Charity is looking for reliable Hub Volunteers who can commit to a regular weekly slot at the charity’s Hub in Cheltenham.
Detailed description
Our mission is to create a calm, welcoming space where children, families, and adults can find practical help, friendly support, and a sense of community.
The Hub will include a small charity shop selling children’s toys and essentials, offer advice and signposting to further support, provide emergency items for families in crisis, and act as the base for our charity’s day‑to‑day operations.
As a Hub Volunteer, you’ll help welcome visitors, support children and families during activities, assist with the charity shop, keep the space tidy and organised, and play a key role in ensuring people feel safe, listened to, and supported. Your consistent presence helps us run the Hub smoothly and makes a real impact on local families who rely on us.

Seren’s Wish Charity is a registered charity based in Bishops Cleeve, serving Tewkesbury, Cheltenham, and the wider Gloucestershire community. Inspired by a 7‑year‑old girl’s wish that every child should have a present at Christmas, we have grown into a year‑round charity supporting people of all ages who are struggling with poor mental health, social isolation, and the effects of poverty.
