Summary

We are looking for growers to help us on our various urban farming sites across Kingsholm and Westgate.

Detailed description

We are an urban community farming collective based in Gloucester, with three growing sites located in Kingsholm and Westgate. Our mission is to provide fresh, nutritious food to the local community and support a range of food-related projects across the area.

We work with vulnerable, marginalised, and disabled individuals of all ages and abilities, helping them access good food and learn how to grow and cook it. Our growing spaces also host social and therapeutic horticulture sessions, offering people the opportunity to connect with nature and receive support in a welcoming environment. In collaboration with local partners, including Wiggly Charity, CCP, and we offer a range of inclusive workshops and programs across our sites.

Our three main locations include the Gloucestershire Heritage Hub, the Bishop of Gloucester's Garden, and Kingsholm Primary School. We sell a limited number of vegetable boxes, salad bags, flowers, and herbs, and operate two social enterprise initiatives: Social Source and Glos Soup. Both generate funds that are reinvested directly into our educational and community programs.
