Summary

We are looking for volunteers who want to support our Family Wellbeing Hub groups that run weekly, working with families & children from birth to pre-school.

Detailed description

We have an exciting opportunity open to become a volunteer in our Family Wellbeing Hub. We are seeking enthusiastic candidates, with energy to help set up the Hub sessions (with toys / resources / drinks and snacks etc), then support the children and families during the sessions (play with and support the little ones with activities and snack time / offer parents a drink etc) and then help to clear up after sessions. Our Hub is like an extended family and volunteering with us here will enable you to be a part of making a real difference to the children and families immediate and long term outcomes.

More info on our Family Wellbeing Hub:

These groups aim to reduce social isolation and loneliness for families with young children (primarily 0-3 year olds) and to support the babies and young children to meet milestones and become school ready. We have a large variety of toys and resources to keep the little ones stimulated and support their holistic development. We offer them a healthy snack and a weekly shared meal for all families together with staff and volunteers included too.

The successful candidate will have experience working with children and families in group settings, aged unborn to 3 years of age.

This post requires an Enhanced DBS check.
