If you love what we do and are passionate about empowering people to become the best versions of themselves, why not volunteer?
We have over 100 volunteers in our Social Enterprise. Each one of them is unique and special to us, whilst also vital to the running of our organisation. Our volunteers make Treasure Seekers possible, and if you want to contribute to our vision, we would love for you to volunteer. We also have many people who volunteer with us to get new skills, meet new people, or because they want to get out 'out and about'. For every one of our volunteers, we are are place where they can become the best version of themselves!
About the Cavern
The Cavern is our coffee shop and live music venue which is open to all throughout the week as a safe place to meet friends, play board games and see a friendly face.
The Cavern opened in 2015 with funding from the Police and
Crime Commissioner originally as a youth venue offering Friday
night youth nights. Since then it has added board game nights, open mic, nights, live music nights and karaoke nights to its
programme as well as opening each day. In July 2016, Support at The Cavern, our out of hours mental health drop in, saw The Cavern open 7 nights a week as well as 6 days a week!
As well as being a coffee shop open to all, The Cavern gives work
experience opportunities to vulnerable and disadvantaged people.
What will I do?
We are looking for volunteers to support the running of our mental health drop in for adults 18+
Tasks can include general house keeping, playing board games, having conversations, and support a safe space.
Time Commitment
This is flexible upon your availability.

About Kingfisher Treasure Seekers
We believe that it is in community that people thrive and grow in all the areas of their lives. Unfortunately, many people fall through the gaps of getting the support they need, and many struggle to get into community life. So we set up this Social Enterprise in 2012 to change this! We now work with over 2000 people, through over 20 activities in Gloucester. Our community includes people with learning disabilities, mental health challenges and complex needs, and young people. We help people come in to community, and then receive support and training through our supportive environment. People can then release their potential, moving closer to becoming the best versions of themselves!
