Are you passionate about technology and helping others?
We are looking for enthusiastic volunteers—including veterans and their families—to join our Digital Inclusion team! As a Digital Inclusion Volunteer, you will play a crucial role in empowering community members with the digital skills they need to thrive in today’s connected world.
We especially welcome veterans and their families who are interested in giving back, learning new skills, or supporting others in their community.
Responsibilities:
- Lead digital literacy workshops covering basic computer skills, internet use, and online safety.
- Provide one-on-one support to individuals needing help with digital devices and applications.
- Create and share educational materials to support digital learning.
- Help organize and promote community outreach events focused on digital inclusion.
- Offer basic tech support and troubleshooting for community members.
Requirements:
- Basic understanding of computers, smartphones, and the internet.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Patience and a passion for teaching and helping others.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
- Prior experience is a plus, but not required.
