We are looking for an administrator to organise and oversee the charity
We are looking for someone who
- Is organised and efficient
- Has good communication skills
- Has a good eye for detail
- Is approachable and friendly
What you’ll be doing
- Organising and attending key meetings (Management and Trustees; approximately every 6-8 weeks).
- Taking and distributing minutes
- Providing admin and secretarial support to the trustees
- Being the main point of contact for enquiries other than trip management (delegated elsewhere)
- Monitoring the Cotswold Boatmobility email and allocating/answering emails as appropriate
- Maintaining up to date records and reference files (Google Drive)
- Generally liaising with trustees, volunteers, guests and outside parties.
This role provides a great opportunity to keep your administration and IT skills up to date while also maintaining social interaction with a range of people (other CB volunteers; guests; and external stakeholders).
Most tasks can be undertaken from home other than management and trustee meetings These are held at a local venue in the Stonehouse area. A bonus would be if you were able to come to boating sessions on a regular or irregular basis to maintain contact.

Based on the Stroudwater Canal near Stonehouse, we provide opportunities for everyone, regardless of physical limitations, to enjoy the peaceful experience of being on the water.
We have specially adapted boats and facilities that cater to people with disabilities of all kinds, enabling them to take part in an activity that might otherwise feel out of reach.
Where are we based and when do we go out?
We are based on the Stroudwater Canal at Ryeford. We currently offer regular 2 hour long trips 3 times a week all through the year, as well as one-off trips for different groups particularly during the summer months.
