We are looking for friendly, enthusiastic people who are interested in working with us at our community cafe, which is based in Gloucester Park.

We are looking for friendly, enthusiastic people who are interested in working in our community cafe. Our community café is in Gloucester Park and provides food and drinks to the visitors of the park.

Our main opening hours are 12 – 6 on Saturdays and Sundays but we also open for Bank Holidays and events. The role involves supporting our café manager in the day to day running of the café and duties will include

  • Serving customers, including taking orders and payment
  • Preparing food and drinks
  • Preparing the café for service
  • Cleaning, including washing up

After a trial period we offer training in Food Hygiene and allergen awareness, this could be an ideal opportunity for somebody who wants to experience hospitality in a small and friendly environment, is interested in gaining transferable skills to help them to return to the workplace or is interested in supporting a community venture
