We are always on the lookout for willing and enthusiastic people to help with events. The Big Lunch is our summer Community free to attend event.
It’s that time of year when we at Cirencester Town Council begin planning our two big community events — and we would absolutely love to have some volunteer support.
If anyone would be interested in getting involved, we’d be delighted to have you on board!
1. Cirencester Big Lunch – Sunday 28th June

🕒 Event time: 12:00pm – 6:00pm
This year’s theme is “Try Something New” — a broad and uplifting invitation for people to have a go at something they’ve never tried before. As always, our aim is to create a warm, inclusive day that brings the whole community together.
There will be plenty happening throughout the day: activities, music, food, drink, and a brilliant atmosphere. We’re still in the early planning stages, but we’ll keep you updated as things progress.
Volunteer support needed at these times:
- Morning setup: 9:00am – 12:00pm
- Support during the event: 12:00pm – 6:00pm
- Evening breakdown: 6:00pm – 8:00pm (latest)
Whether you prefer to help behind the scenes or take on a more social role, we would be thrilled to have you involved.
