Help lead Cirencester Open Air Swimming Pool as Chair of Trustees, shaping strategy, guiding growth, and supporting a cherished community charity.
Role Summary
- Provide leadership and direction to the board of Trustees and enable the Board to fulfil its responsibilities for the overall governance and strategic direction of the charity.
- Ensure that the charity pursues its objects as defined in its governing document, charity law, company law and other relevant legislation/regulations.
- Work in partnership with the Management Team and support the employees, helping them achieve the aims of the organisation; to optimise the relationship between the Board of Trustees and the staff.
- Facilitate the Board of trustees in stimulating excellent, well-rounded and carefully considered strategic decision-making and to honour the ethics of Cirencester Open Air Pool.
Please note it is essential to have experience as a member of a well-governed board. Please only apply if you have charity board experience.
