Summary
We are seeking enthusiastic volunteers to help with the running of our Community Café at our Hilltop Centre in Cinderford.Detailed description
Our Community Café operates on Fridays and we are looking for volunteers to help from 9:15am to 12:00pm.
Volunteers will be supporting in a wide range of areas including:
• Welcoming visitors and working with other staff/volunteers to provide the best service for our visitors.
• Take orders and serve at the till.
• Prepare food and drink.
• Serve food and drinks to the customers.
• Carry out the washing up of crockery, glassware, cutlery and utensils.
• Check and ensure the cleanliness of the dining areas and the availability of clean cutlery, crockery, serviettes, etc.
• Support general cleaning and ensure all areas are free from hazard.
You will need to attend training sessions as required including up-to-date training in food hygiene.
We are looking for volunteers, with a passion for making a difference in people’s lives, a fun and approachable attitude and an ability to engage parents and carers in worthwhile and enjoyable activities, supporting them to achieve their goals.
