Are you completing your Duke of Edinburgh’s Award and looking for a volunteering opportunity that’s active, rewarding and lots of fun?

Allsorts Gloucestershire is looking for enthusiastic volunteers to help children and young people with SEND (special educational needs and disabilities) enjoy the same everyday experiences as their peers. 💛

You could be joining us at sports activities, family Stay & Play sessions, holiday trips and other fun activities across Gloucestershire.

We’re looking for volunteers who:

🏃 Have plenty of energy and are happy to get involved

😊 Enjoy spending time with children and young people

🤝 Are kind, patient and encouraging

🌈 Are interested in learning more about SEND

🎉 Want to help children join in, have fun and build confidence

You don't need previous experience — enthusiasm, reliability and a willingness to learn are what matter most. Our team will support you to understand the individual needs of the children you’re volunteering with.

It’s a great opportunity to complete your DofE volunteering hours, gain hands-on experience of supporting children with SEND and develop skills that could be useful for future study or careers in psychology, education, childcare, health or social care.

📍 Opportunities available at different activities and times, including school holidays.

Interested? Get in touch with Allsorts to find out more about becoming a Play Volunteer.
