Our veterans live in a house based in Gloucester. On leaving the forces, some sadly become homeless. It would be fantastic to see volunteers join us :-)
Our Veterans come from a diverse community with one shared theme. They are Veterans ! These brave people have fought in dangerous war zones and many have different experiences no matter what.
What we would really cherish are volunteers to assist the Veterans. This year, our garden back and front is the main priority. Also, we would love to welcome a cooks( need not be professional- tasty home cooking) A listening ear can help too with cups of tea and cake for all concerned!
I wouldn’t want to be task orientated as people from all walks of life bring a wealth of different skill sets.
