What is Volunteers Week?
Volunteers Week is a time to celebrate volunteering and the contribution that volunteers make in their communities. It is national event on 1st -7th June every year. It's a time to recognise the fantastic contribution volunteers make to our communities and say thank you.
Volunteers are always active at the heart of every community. Taking the time during Volunteers’ Week to celebrate and recognise their efforts and all they contribute to our local communities, the voluntary sector and society as a whole have never been more important.
