Summary

We are looking for 1 or 2 people to run a quarterly informal Coffee morning in Littledean for anyone affected by Parkinson's.

Detailed description

Parkinson’s changes lives. From the day of diagnosis, people with Parkinson’s and their loved ones need to know we’re by their side.

In the Forest of Dean we have a cafe for people with Parkinson’s and their friends and families to come and informally get to know other people in their situation. The cafe takes place quarterly at present at The Belfry in Littledean, so people can just pop along for a cuppa & an informal catch up. The cafe started in September 2022 & has gone from strength to strength and we are now looking for an activity leader or 2 to run it.

Your role is mainly to meet & greet people on the day of the cafe and let people know/remind them in advance the date the next cafe is booked for.

The role can be split between 2 people so if you like meeting people, are organised & friendly then you are the person/people for this role.
