Summary

We are looking for a friendly and welcoming person to join our team of reception volunteers.

Detailed description

We currently have a vacancy on Friday Afternoons 13:00pm - 17:00pm for a reception volunteer. There is also occasional holiday cover however this isn't a must and is flexible within the team if they would like to support with additional cover.


As a reception volunteer you will be first point of contact for visitors and callers to the hospice, passing them through to the appropriate team within the hospice.


Full training will be provided and there is the opportunity to get involved with other training provided within the hospice.


Main Responsibilities will include: -

  • Will greet all visitors to Great Oaks and deal with their individual needs
  • Will be the first contact for telephone calls to Great Oaks
  • Will provide administration support as required at the Hospice
  •  Will assist the Administration Manager with general administration duties as required
  •   Will maintain the tidiness of the office and general reception area
