The job role of helper/befriender is to help set up and close down, provide a warm and friendly welcome to the session. Be able to listen effectively and with no judgment, make teas and coffees and help provide a happy and safe environment.

The commitment to these sessions is either fortnightly or monthly depending on the frequency of the group.

About Charlies Cancer Support and Therapy Centre

We offer free holistic therapies, activities and group therapy alongside friendship, tea and chat for all those lives affected by Cancer.

Charlie’s is so special because of our brilliant team, from our Director, Therapists, Helpers, Trustees, and our team of many helpers around the County. We all play a part in making Charlie’s a supportive place for all. Without their tireless support and their selfless generosity we wouldn’t be where we are today. We can be proud of the community we have built, the people we have helped and everything we have achieved together.
