Detailed description

External Affairs (EA) Deputy Team Manager

  1. Develop and implement "visitor" surveys and analyse results.
  2. Consult with the EA Manager in developing the marketing strategy.
  3. Operate with other team members to implement marketing strategy.
  4. Provide EA Team Manager with periodic progress reports.

The role of EA is publicising the achievements of and events at Jet Age Museum to a wide range of the public by various media to increase Museum awareness and attendance. This is currently carried out by a very small team and so extra assistance is required.

There will also be opportunities to write articles and take photographs for the Jet Age Museum Newsletter as well as represent Jet Age Museum in person at public gatherings such as model engineering exhibitions, steam fairs and similar events.

About Jet Age Museum

We celebrate Gloucestershire’s rich aviation heritage from the early days of flight, through the birth of the Jet Age to the present day.

Jet Age Museum is staffed only by volunteers, some of whom flew in aircraft we have on display. Come and visit, ask questions and learn about the history of aviation in Gloucestershire and beyond. We aim to preserve the past and inspire the future.
